Welcome to CLYR LTD. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the purchase of our products. By accessing our site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Our Contract with You
• The Ordering Process: When you place an order on our website, you are making an offer to purchase our goods. We will send you an "Order Confirmation" email to acknowledge receipt of your order. Your order is accepted once it has been dispatched.
• Contract Formation: A legally binding contract is only formed between you and CLYR LTD when we dispatch your products and send you a "Shipping Confirmation" email. This allows us to protect against pricing errors or stock unavailability.
• Guest Checkout: You may place an order as a guest. While creating an account is not required, you must provide a valid email address and a UK delivery address to complete a transaction.
2. Pricing and Payment
• VAT: CLYR LTD is VAT-registered. Please note that under UK tax law, olive oil is currently zero-rated for VAT. All prices shown on our site are inclusive of any applicable taxes.
• Payment: We accept all major credit and debit cards securely through Stripe. We do not store your full financial details. Payment is taken at the point of order.For recurring subscription orders, see Section 5.
3. Delivery
• Scope: We deliver to addresses within the United Kingdom only.
• Timelines: We aim to deliver within 1–3 working days. While we strive for speed, delivery times are estimates. We are not liable for delays caused by third-party couriers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
4. Returns and Refunds
• Perishable Goods: At CLYR, we're committed to delivering fresh, high-quality olive oil in perfect condition. As our oils are food products, we're unable to accept returns or exchanges for health and food-safety reasons. This does not affect your rights where an order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect.
• Damaged Goods: Every order is quality-checked and securely packed before dispatch. In the rare event that your order arrives damaged, please contact us at info@clyr.co within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and a photo of the item. We'll arrange a replacement or full refund.
• Incorrect or Incomplete Orders: If you've received an incorrect or incomplete order, contact us at info@clyr.co within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and clear photos of what you received. We'll review and put it right as quickly as we can.
5. Subscriptions
Some of our products are
available on a recurring subscription basis. The following terms apply in
addition to the rest of these Terms.
• How subscriptions work: When you start a subscription,
you authorise us to place a repeat order and to charge your saved payment
method automatically at the frequency you select at checkout (every 2 weeks,
every 1 month, or every 2 months), until you cancel. Each renewal is a separate
order for the products and quantity in your subscription.
• Payment and renewal: Payment for each subscription order is taken
automatically by Stripe on each renewal date, using the payment method you have
saved. The price for each order is the subscription price shown at the time
that order is placed.
• Price changes: We may change subscription prices from time to time. If
we do, we will give you advance notice by email before the new price applies,
and you may cancel before your next renewal if you do not wish to continue.
• Cancelling: You can cancel your subscription at any time via your
account dashboard on our website, or by emailing us at info@clyr.co.
Cancellation stops all future renewals. To ensure a renewal is not processed,
please cancel at least 48 hours before your next scheduled renewal date. If an
order has already been placed and dispatched, it will be handled under the
Returns and Cancellations section above.
6. Website Usage & Intellectual Property
• Ownership: All content on this website, including text, logos, and photographs, is the property of CLYR LTD. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute our intellectual property without our express written consent.
• Accuracy: We endeavour to ensure all product descriptions and images are accurate; however, slight variations in packaging or colour may occur.
7. Limitation of Liability
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, CLYR LTD shall not be liable for any losses that were not foreseeable to both parties when the contract was formed, nor for any business losses.
• Our total liability to you in connection with any order will not exceed the total value of that order.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
